Public content is processed so it can be shown publicly; private content is handled according to your chosen visibility and product functionality.
Why we use it
We use information to operate and secure PIXELBOXD, provide account and community features, maintain your library and preferences, improve the product, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and send transactional messages. Marketing email is optional and controlled through consent and email preferences.
Advertising and private activity
PIXELBOXD does not use private reviews, private lists, imports, or sensitive account activity for advertising. Advertising, where shown, is clearly separated from editorial content. Free members may see advertising; Pro and Patron access is intended to be ad-free. PIXELBOXD has integrated Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google and its advertising partners, may use cookies or similar local storage to serve ads based on your previous visits to PIXELBOXD and other websites. Depending on your consent and applicable requirements, data may be used for ad personalization, ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. You can opt out of Google's personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. This does not replace any consent choices required on PIXELBOXD. Sharing and service providers
